NCAA Division III Playoffs

Baldwin-Wallace College received its first invitation to the NCAA Division III playoffs after winning the Ohio Athletic Conference title in 1985. B-W flew to the Midwest Regional in Oshkosh, Wis., where they finished third after being eliminated by the eventual national champion, the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. The Jackets returned to the playoffs in 1986 with a bid to the Mideast Regional at Ohio State University. It was the first of three trips to the Mideast Regional during the next five seasons.
