NCAA Division III Playoffs

The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team has earned a bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs nine times. BW’s first bid came in 1985, following its first-place finish in the Ohio Athletic Conference championship tournament. The Yellow Jackets returned to the playoffs three more times over the next six seasons.

In 2014 the Yellow Jackets swept through the Mid-Atlantic regional tournament, claiming their first regional championship and their first trip to the Division III College World Series. The Jackets edged eventual runner-up Emory University 5–4 in the opening round of the series before their record-setting postseason run finally came to an end. They repeated their regional sweep in 2022, this time including a two-game trip through the new Super Regionals, to punch their second ticket to the College World Series
